POSTER

So here is my final poster. I chose to keep it simple as i believe it shows it at a level of authenticity. Overall the whole process of making an alphabet has opened my eyes to the world of typography.
I could actually see myself doing it again.
peace.

TRACE FOR POSTER

The following words i chose to write on my poster display use of the whole alphabet. This gives the viewer a chance to see all the letters working together. From here i take my font into photo shop and work it into a poster.
I found the more i trace these letters the more natural it feels to do so.
Hope you like it.

So I went from my first draft into fontstruct to get an idea how my font would look on the computer. After previewing the font with Lecturer Peter McGill, we both discovered that fontstruct took away from the natural nature of the font.
For all those interested here is a preview of the font.

RESEARCH

While researching i wasn't to sure what i was looking for but just noticed how different alphabets worked, and how i could bring this into my own alphabet. I found my self particulary interested in how computer-generated type worked. And so from here its off to font struct to give it a go.
